Lillian So engages in Real Talk during this interview, sharing her history of an Eating Disorder and racial identity issues. She grew up in Chicago, spending time at her parents’ store with a demographic of mostly Black/African American. She felt a sense of belonging there, in contrast to feeling dis-connected from the Korean Americans at a church she attended in a wealthy neighborhood. As a Fitness & Transformation Coach she has healed unhelpful narratives, challenging standards depicted on social media.
